Rust is a common phenomenon that happens under the condition of iron alloy reacting with oxygen and water. It’s known as oxidizing with the result of of rust. Rust is a type of corrosion, has a serious negative impact on metal parts, as well the safety of metal structure, vehicle, or machine equipment. It’s almost inevitable while iron parts meet with excessive air moisture.  

So we have to do everything to prevent metal parts from rusting as much as possible.  

1)The first thing you need to prevent your metal parts from rusting, is to keep them clean and dry. But this is not the only thing you can do by any means !

2)Providing your metal parts with a protective coating, such as surface finish: painting,plating, blackening,phosphating, electrophoresis etc. to protect against both this specific type of corrosion. For those metal parts already affected by rust, they will need cleaning prior to the application of this protective coating.
